Aired 2011-12. There is a long tradition in America of our faith communities reaching out to help foreigners settle in the USA. Many of today’s immigrants are from different nations than those of earlier centuries but the needs are the same. We met these new Americans, and the people of varied religions, who helped to ease their transition.
