Based on the traditional "Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols" with a few contemporary twists, the service retells the Christmas story through scripture reading and music. A chamber choir, children, and soloists are accompanied by strings, woodwinds, pipe organ, acoustic guitars, harp, and piano. The congregation also participates in singing several Christmas carols.
